Welcome to this site dedicated to honoring, remembering, and celebrating a life well lived. Join us in cherishing the memories and stories of Peggy Botsford, whose legacy continues to bloom in our hearts.
On February 19th, Marguerite “Peggy” Botsford passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.
Peggy was born in 1934 and lived a life filled with faith, devotion, and music. She married Rev. Thomas Hagar Botsford in 1954, and together they built a life centered on love, service, and faith. As the wife of a devoted pastor, Peggy stood steadfastly by Tom’s side, offering warmth, kindness, and unwavering support throughout his decades of ministry.
A gifted pianist, Peggy made the piano sing, filling homes and churches with melodies that lifted hearts and spirits. Whether playing hymns of worship or songs of joy, her music was a reflection of her soul—graceful, uplifting, and deeply felt.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, whose devotion to her family was unwavering. Her kindness, strength, and faith left an indelible mark on those who knew her, and her legacy continues through the lives she touched.
Peggy now joins her beloved husband, Tom, in eternal rest, reunited in God’s presence. Though she is no longer with us, her melody lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A service to honor and celebrate Peggy’s life will be held on March 10th at Green Acres in Bloomington.
Whether you have a memory to share, a question, or simply want to reach out, we welcome your messages. Peggy’s life was filled with love, music, and faith, and we’re grateful to keep her spirit alive through the stories and connections of those who knew her.
